This not quite a engine question but I did not know where to posted. When I bring my anchor back up the cable and chain seems to pile up in cone shape and at a certain point towards the end of the chain it jammed since the last portion of the chain as no place to go anybody knows a way to prevent that . sounds like the chain and rope are not following the track that they are suppose to ride on. check pictures to see if your setup looks the same.

Al, My boat is a 2007 Rinker 300 express, and that is the conclusion that I came to, We decide to live whith it instead of removing some rope, it only happens occasionally Thanks Paul
