Well we all know I can't spell the word properly for my electric anchor so I won't do that 

Have been having a recent issue with a seldom used anchor ,(almost tripped up there) where the breaker would blow...had to do it by hand a couple times and then on a recent sea tow incident , had to keep resetting to get it up. Just brought it home and worked like a charm. I let all the chain out and a lot of rode (?) And then brought it back up.
What's up?

Recent use has unstuck things that were binding and causing it to draw lots of power and tripping perhaps?

Likely way less load pulling up the rode on your trailer then in the water due to the vertical distance.  Try when putting a load on the rode by pulling on it while retracting.

19,21,22 look like needle bearings don't know how you can get grease to them? The more you use it the better it is,I got to the the wife that.

Would those not be a sealed bearing considering the use and where they sit? So me and electrical don't see eye to eye- so if my batteries are low, and the windlass is pulling all these amps, does that mess things up when it comes the breakers? I am grasping at straws here..I really expected it to trip the breaker with just the batteries and the motor not running...
