Rode and chain

So I know there are a lot of topics on this but I’m very confused. I don’t want to make a wrong purchase. I need to replace my rode. I have a 2004 342. I’ve been told it’s 1/4 in chain 1/2 in rode 3 strand. I’ve seen others say 9/16. How can I know fore sure? Here is a pic of my old one that worked fine.

    I believe that’s called 8 plait line, someone here may know better, and that’s what you want, that will work better than 3 strand in your windlass. I believe you don’t want 3 strand.

    That’s what I have in my 330, I don’t know for sure what size though.

    @Liberty44140 is right, that's 8 plait and is better than 3 ply. As to size I can't say but it needs to match your windlass gypsy.
