Can cabin lights be changed to LED?

Just curious if this type of cabin light can be changed to LED? Dont know what kind of bulb is in it. Also not sure how to get lens off to check.

Can you twist the clear lens and it will come off? It should and that will reveal a halogen bulb. Yes you can definitely find an LED replacement for a Halogen bulb, in my 342 I was able to change all of those light bulbs from halogen to LED for under $20.

If its like mine they are festoon bulbs.  I replaced all mine with flat led panel bulbs with adapter.

Guess I answered part of my question myself. The cover will pop off with small flat screwdriver. It does not twist off. The bulb is a SE 91. Lot of difference in wattage on the old bulbs. And new LED ones.  The LEDs are 2 or less depending the kind. Most of the ones in auto part stores are used for backup lights. Ebay and Amazon have some new fandangled ones that are flat and plug in like old bulb. Some had circuit boards on back and were about 20.00 apiece. This is type bulb in this 97 model boat.
