Hatch Linear Actuator

On my 2005 320 the original Aculift actuator is on it's way out. Has anyone had any experience with the Lenco actuators . Thanks

Lenco’s are good. Just get the correct stroke length and lift capacity.

What's the issue you are having?

it has a hard time to lift at the start of it's stroke and at the end of the stroke there seems to be a lot of end play. It is original to the boat

I assume you've already greased the actuator (if there's a grease nipple) and checked the electrical connector for corrosion.  And you're sure the play is in the actuator, not the fitting on the underside of the hatch?  That fitting is supposed to have an inch or two of play.
