I have a 2006 Rinker Fiesta Vee 300. The overide studs for the hatch opening do not work.

Does anyone know if the 2006 Fiesta Vee 300 has an inline fuse  and if so were is it located. The hatch moror works if I jump it directly so its not the motor.

Are you sure that your power supply is supplying power? Also have you reversed the leads to be sure your not trying to close it?

Have the exact same year and model boat....
No; reversing the leads does NOT have any effect.
If you have nothing by placing power to the studs, in either direction, the relays behind the panel are probably bad. I had to replace all 4 one year as a result of jumping the motor directly as you have.

Try plugging in your shore power, turn on your battery charger at the cabin panel, then operate the helm rocker switch.
This has become my solution every time now and hasn't failed me yet.

@RustyS So are you saying that jumping the motor directly will blow out the relays?

Odd, if that is the case you have a wiring issue.

"So are you saying that jumping the motor directly will blow out the relays?"

When I jumped out the motor directly to a battery I did not cut the wire to motor as I probably should have. I stripped the motor wires down and connected jumper wires to them; leaving the original wires in place back to the wiring block where the relays, circuit breakers, and battery switches are located.
The wires I used to jump directly to a battery were undersized and got very hot before the cylinder brought hatch all the way down.
I believe if I had actually cut the wire, then jumped the motor, all would have been fine.

When I returned in the Spring and re-connected all batteries the rocker switch at helm did not work. After researching I had to replace 2 of the 4 relays and the rocker switch has worked fine ever since.

I avoid all of this drama now by simply plugging in to shore power and turning on the battery charger. Best advice I have found on this forum to date!
