Selecting Location for in-Hull Transducer

I am installing an in-hull transducer in a 2015 Rinker 246 cc and wondered if anyone had done the same and found a good location for the transducer install. Thanks

Try for the pad (the area in the water when up on plane) this is tuff because the motor is in the way.
