No problem @PickleRick. The only thing I'll correct you on (assuming it wasn't just satirical) are the "death panels". That was an invention of the far right in the US during the fight against health insurance. Everyone that requires care gets it within a reasonable amount of time. Yes, that time can vary case by case but if it's critical it is sooner rather than later.
For sure taxes are more though....

Im all for free health care for those who deserve it.  Like the retired working class who dont have a saucy pension to live off of and veterans.  I fail to see how illegals deserve free health care...or all the other govt assistance they receive

I think all veterans should get free healthcare and those that fought in wars should never have to pay property taxes for the rest of their lives. And I am not a veteran, just really appreciate the sacrifices they have made. I have an uncle that just turned 101 and was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked. He was an Army Staff Sergeant. And I wasn't going to mention the high taxes caused by the free healthcare in Canada because as much as I pay per month I might be further ahead with Canadas system...lol. My premium is $1022/month for myself and my wife.

Just remember private business is at the government spending trough all day long. Find one company who would not love the US Gov’t as a customer. A significant amount of the US economy is based on gov’t spending. There are states that would be 3rd world status or lower if fed dollars stopped. 

Remember all that LCC sourcing is capitalism at work too.  lol

Id rather not sell to local governments or fed.  They only come to me for parts and service. They only buy from the top tier supper sized dealers who will take the time to get their govt assistance bids.  They call at least 3 shops and waste my time so i quit quoting any discount years ago.   I will not sell at cost just to get your business.  

Then they ask for a discounts on parts or service. On services they need any and all repairs pre approved so i spend more time making calls, leaving voice mails and waiting on returned calls than i do turning wrenches.  We have a faster shop and better parts inventory than most other shops in town. 

To top it off if the person paying at my counter forgets to turn in his proper paper work i get a call from their accounts receivable threatening to put a stop payment on the card until i send here an itemized receipt which we do hand written.  It's usually a she and she is usually not pleasant to deal with.  


Id rather deal with private individuals or business.  I know I'm always very anti any benefits for illegals but it's the Hispanic guys at our shop that are some of our best customers.  They dont complain about the prices and are easy to get along with.  I have no issues with people coming to this country...my grandpa came over on a potatoe boat.  I have an issue with any person or government agency wanting something for nothing.
