has anyone ever tried the rockville 6 1/2" tower speakers and pods? I have sony speakers as of right now but they only last 1 to 1 1/2 years and then blow up or just die. the tower pods came with boat and are 6 1/2" speakers, my problem is no matter which speaker i get for it they will not fit the pods, either too wide of magnet or they overhang the pods by 1/2" so water can get in and bolts will not show up to be used because of wider speaker flanges. My thought was to get new speakers with pods and if they blow I should be able to use anybody's 6 1/2" speakers. please get me some opinions on these.... thanks.
