Jabsco electric head 37010 macerator

While doing season prep I noticed the head is leaking. The leaking is from the macerator motor at the base of the head. I pulled it off and removed the o-ring. I think I can get one in town.
But my question is about the macerator housing. That is the plastic housing that the metal blade of the macerator spins around in. It has a slot in the edge that faces the base of the head. But I don't see any way to align it. Just wondering if there is a trick to positioning it.
