Caframo Sirocco cabin fans

Anybody got one of these in your boat cabin? My boat is only 24 foot.  Just curious where you got your power source. I was thinking about just using long cord and using 12 volt plug at console. Kind of messy way of doing it. Not sure if they could be wired to cabin lights. These fans are suppose to only draw 2 or 3 amps. Not lot choices in smaller boat.

Sounds complicated. We opted for one of these. Can move it around wherever we want. Above deck I plug it into the 12V accessory plug with a USB adapter. For night time in the cabin we either use the USB (I have a couple of 12 V accessory outlets already in my 270) or we're run it all night on a set of AA batteries. You can buy a lot of batteries for the price of the Caframo.

It gets hot here in Alabama. We something to move air. Those things are expensive but what I`ve read people love them. The low amp draw and timer make them more practical in a boat. I need 12 volt accessory plug in the cabin I guess.

I made the mistake of paying more somewhere else. This is cheapest I found since except one on scam site for 68.00. It was Dobouy or something like that. These fans are suppose to be made in Canada.

I got mine at West Marine. If you have to import from Canada your dollar should have a premium of about 40%..... @Willhound seems to have found a decent lower cost one. There are a number of different style Caframos I had.  I had several of the type on the link @Stever00 posted. They articulated in many directions, had several speeds and,I believe three timer settings. They were really awesome. Mine were black.
