Fuel Gage Question

Last season I switched my fuel gage system over from analog to digital so I could read it through my Garmin.

When I did that, I can see fuel usage but not the actual tank level. I always have a good idea of the amount fuel in the tank as I started full and update the fuel level through the garmin when I add fuel.

I was wondering if I could reconnect the analog gage wires to the sender connections, as well as leaving the digital ones connected so that my analog fuel gage works again??

Would that possibly hurt anything electrically?
