342 Bow Rail

Finally going to reseal the bow rail on my 342 and had a couple questions around cutting the vinyl. The one specifically I'm after is the starboard side right above the window and shelf. I know from reading past comments that it needs to be cut, I'm just curious on how you cut it to be able to glue it back so its not noticeable. Did you just do an X or straight line?

    remove the shelf and peel the vinyl down

    You can do as Handy mentioned, the headliner has to come down too and putting it back once you peeled it off is a pain

    i cut a 3 sided flap to get to the nuts. Used spray adhesive to put it back up. Not perfect but it works!
