Battery Charger and Mercathode Qustions for Older Captiva

I have a 2000 Capiva witha factory Gurst Charge Pro . Is there supposed to be a indicator light on the Merchathode box letting me know it's working? If not how do I know it is?? Pics below
I am a new boater with my first boat, thats why some of my questions seem dumb
