Volvo D6 low Temp & high Idle RPM

Having a great time with the boat, had her out three times last weekend and again yesterday. I have a call in to my Volvo tech, but you guys have weighed in on DirtyThirty's D6's so I wanted to run it here too. Two issues, may be related?

1- Stbd coolant temp shows 12 F at start up (port 99 F), 30F after 5-10 min at dock (Port 142 F) and 60 F when I get on plane (Port 185). After running on plane for a while they both nicely show 185 F as they should but when I come off plane the Stbd comes back down to 170 F (stbd stays at 185 F). I am thinking this is a bad temp sender. Could be T Stat but more likely sender?

2- Boat's neutral and idle is 600 rpm. Yesterday morning I changed tranny lube and filters. Then we went to leave the dock and 600 rpm in neutral as always. Put in to gear and stbd engine goes to 900 rpm (port normal 600). In and out of gear, no change, 900 on stbd. So, I throttled them up to over 1000rpm, then brought them back down to idle and they both came to 600. All good the rest of the run (pump out dock, etc). I could have bumped something while changing lube but what? I thought these were all electronic?. Could the crazy low temp reading have increased the idle rpm but not neutral?

So for anyone who finds this thread and wants the answers:

1- issue was temp sender. New coolant sensor and all good.

2- while it’s possible that the above helped solve this, they re calibrated the throttles which is a pretty simple process in the manual and all good.
