NO Dash Lights 342

When I turn on the NAV lights on the dash lights don't come on. I have a switch that says "PANEL LIGHTS". It's a momentary switch and it don't to seem to do anything. What does this switch do?? I used a power Probe and tapped into a plug at top right connector. Iput 12v to it and can get dash to light up fine. How is the dash lights suppose to work? Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

If you hold the switch it should either brighten or dim. Behind the dash I believe there is a dimmer module that may have gone bad or became unplugged.
