After changing the impeller late last year. this year I realize there is no water going to the motor to cool it off. I took the impeller off and after a few different test I realize the impeller shaft is not turning the impeller. Can some help with this issue and let me know how to repair.

You have to go behind the impeller.  There is a small yellow plastic piece that connects to the shaft.  I can't seem to remember part number, but someone will chime in with it.

Dream_Inn, I had the impeller unit off the shaft so I could see if the shaft it self was turning and the shaft was not turning which tells me the impeller will not spin.  Is there a belt or fuse that control the shaft the impeller sits on.

There’s a coupler on the other side of the impeller - that’s what Dream is referring to and I think it could be the issue.

How do I get to to this, what do I need to remove. Is it on the inside of the housing?

Hopefully these pics help. Remove the two Allen screws. You can pull it out with a pair of needle nose but I ended up pulling off the big round plate the Allen screws attach to.

I have another problem, I fit the drive sleeve and it all works great. But now the generator runs for 3 to 5 minutes and cuts off. I did a complete tune up on it with all filters and plugs replaced as well as oil change and antifreeze.  Any thoughts?

Did you burb the heat exchanger after the antifreeze change, could be air in the system. There is a brass nut on top that you need to draw the air out of.

I agree with what @reneechris14 said. Also fill the oil to the full line with the dipstick unscrewed. Don’t check the oil by screwing in the dipstick.

Again thank you all for helping me with fixing my generator. I burped the system but had to add more antifreeze. Ran for 25 minutes and 10 minutes was with the Air conditioning unit running.
