Engine oil API ratings and fraud

As engines become far more complicated, esp in the automotive world it is becoming more critical to use not only the correct viscosity grade but ensure the oil meets the API requirements. 

API has a list of oils using the API rating that do not meet the standards. 


A lot of buyer beware on the brands listed but worth noting.

    Good info however based off those brand names I probably wouldn't use that stuff in my lawnmower.
