Transom light wiring

does anybody know where the circlular transom light is wired to?  I went to replace an old broken bulb left there by the PO, to find that the old light had a pigtail hanging but not connected to any wired to the helm.  I am assuming this light should be connected to one of the rocker switches at the helm.  The boat I have is a 2003 342 fiesta vee.  Any help would be much appreciated.

That wire to the light was just swinging in the breeze on my 342. The wire from the harness should be near directly below where the light is.

The wire should be right by the port trim pump, the switch is the third one from the left on the dash.

Does anybody have a picture of what this may look like?  Is the wire heat wrapped in blank flex tubing?

This is what it looks like on my ‘08 330, would think it’s wired similar.
