Table pedestal

Hello all. I have a Rinker 260 EC.
On deck I have a table that mounts via a pedestal in between my aft seats.
The table post is positioned in the center of the rear 3 seater seat (one connected to engine compartment door).
This pushes the table a little to far to port side and constrains the space available to walk past where the sink on deck is.
I was wondering if anyone has found an offset post (one that comes up and then bends before coming up again to offset the center point by a few inches)? This would be a lot easier than changing my post hole and carpets.
Thanks - Mark

Well thanks guys. It was pretty simple - took the table and post into a machine shop and said please weld me on a branch offset by 6". I am keeping the original vertical post insert there, so basically I can put the table into the original position (post) or the branch which is 6" offset - and now can decide depending on circumstances which position is best to use!
Will be ready tomorrow - $100.
Great suggestion guys! Thanks!

not bad, one Boat Unit in cost. Spray the fresh aluminum with clear krylon or similar or you'll get the AL oxide crap all over your hands and anything else it touches.

Here are some pics. As you can see I left the original post position and added a side extension. This allows me to use either position. They are separated 6" post to post in order to keep both posts covered by the table, no matter what direction the table top is put on - see second pic. The top of the new extension is tapered just like the original to ensure the fit is snug with the table top.
