Engine will crank but not start 2006 350 Horizons

Hello Al. Had a great day on the water yesterday but when I wanted to start my engines for the final trip in the starboard engine would turn over but not start. I remove the spark arrester and sprayed some starting fluid into the throttlebody and it made no difference.
Today I tested for spark with my spark plug tool and confirm that they have no spark to the engine or actually to the spark plugs.Was told by a friend of mine who is a mechanic that it could likely be the cap and rotor going to do that in the next few days but just wondering if there’s any other things I should be looking for at this point if that doesn’t work
