my wife and the crew want to forever hit up a sandbar... and sit.. if it were up to me i'd launch at my neighborhoods launch and cruise down to the public launch and anchor up.. sit back and watch... that's as close as we have to something like that around here. 

on an aside: Once you realize and accept that humans are animals and rapidly regressing from the high mark of walking on the moon, followed briefly by the invention of personally owned computers, all of this behavior becomes easier to accept without your senses revolting and contemplating spectacular mental gymnastics in attempt of logical explanation.... it is bereft of logic in explanation.. it's better to just accept that.

That's insane! I Googled the phone number on the sign and it's at "Fabiano's on the River" in Rapid City, MI. Crazy thing is if we ever do the Great Loop, I think I'd make this a side trip just for the experience!

Hilarious! Looks like the small river at the south end of Torch Lake MI. Not far from Traverse City.

Pontoons are pretty much indestructible anyway.....Torch Lake made CNN for the July 4th weekend. Not much care for CV19. $h!t be happening.
