Did anyone read about the electrocution at an Arizona Lake? Killed 2 people. Anyone have any details??

Man, I hate to see that.  Second guy goes in to save the first, and they both die.  Almost three people.

Yeah...I just came to post the same story.  Saw on a fb group and people respond with is all these devices to detect current.  Nobody says don't swim around the harbor.  Really sad.

FYI, this organization offers signs to warn people about the ESD hazard.  I'm lobbying the board of my club to post a few signs.

we have multiple signs on every dock
but yet
mainly houseboat group out their with the floaties

Interesting.  555.24 first appeared in the 2017 NEC.  Virginia has adopted the 2014 NEC, so technically the 2017 NEC doesn't apply.  But any time an organization fails to adopt safety best practices such as the NEC, there's risk exposure.
