I need help how to get a new harness ‘1999 fiesta vee 242’

I just purchased a used 1999 Rinker fiesta vee 242, 5.7 Mercruiser. 1st time boat owner, I’ve make a mistake of not plug the drainage so water go into engine for approximately 10 minutes. My friend showed up and asked if I plug the drainage I was like😳. We brought the boat up and drain it for about 30 minutes. After drained out all the water, we boat back into the water for a drive, we were out there for few hours that night. The next day my friends a smoking came from the boat. They stop the burned. I park the boat my friend repair shop. I need help to find body ‘ boat harness’ harness, not engine harness. It’s burned from the starter out to boat harness. I’d called around local shops, they all said I need to know my engine serials numbers, but have look above the starter, but no luck please help me. Thank you
