I have replaced the belt, fluid level is ok. Still squeals. Please help, the 4.3 runs great. Also, could I just disengage the pump?

Could be the bearing on the pump pulley or the idler wheel bearing. Both easy fixes. Not easy to "disengage" the pump. You'd have to remove it but then your serpentine belt won't fit.
