What is this Breaker for?

Trying to figure out what this breaker is for. It’s attached to my house battery and then runs on the port side of the boat.

Isn't that a main breaker circuit that has a technical name that I am drawing a blank on. I think they are usually a large fuse but apparently someone went this route.

Same breaker type used for a windlass. 

About the worst way/place to mount it though.

Yes it looks like the windless circuit breaker but the breaker for my windless is under my steering wheel

Doesn't your boat have a factory windlass? If so the breaker would be on the panel I would think.

There’s also a breaker for the windlass where the on/off switches for the batteries

It's definitely not a factory-installed device, so it was added by a previous owner.  What non-original equipment does the boat have?  Anchor washdown, bait tank, helm electronics ...

Looks like a big amperage breaker. Windlass. That Tracvision?  Stereo?

Looks like a windlass breaker for sure. Don't know why it's there. Previous owner maybe just wanted to isolate that one battery for some reason?
