I was looking at doing the same thing, maybe using sand bags or weights. Since you'll probably be in the water before me, keep me posted as to how it works.

40 Gallons weights 332 lbs. Got any big friends? Just have them lay in the forward bed. Maybe borrow 3 of @javhav female friends. Then you would have fun testing, the weight and getting some good photo ops.
