Amp location

Can't find the amplifier on my 2015 Captiva 276 BR.  5 of 9 speakers are inop.

Its mounted to the inside of the hull behind the wall under the sink. You can probably see it if you take the garbage can out and look to the side of the boat.

I replaced mine with an Infinity Kappa Five, and its been a nice improvement.

Also my speakers were connected with spade connectors that easily rattle loose, so check that too.

Did they all go out at once? Try moving a bad speaker to a know good location an see if it works.

Mine was same spot. Hull side, under sink. Back wall of the locker compartment comes out. Had some connectors go loose on the amp - same as JoeStang.

Hopefully you don't have a fridge. I know some of the newer 276's had a fridge as an option. Be a bugger if you have to remove all that.

Thanks JoeStang & Mattie - found amp where you said it would be and that the 4 channel connector panel was corroded - unknown water source but clearly reason speakers inop.
