Has anyone had any issues with gelcoat cracks below the windshield?

Answers
How bad are the cracks and exactly where located? Inside the windshield on the dash? Outside on upper deck? Hairline cracks wouldn't be uncommon for any boat that age. My 2000 FV270 has hairline cracks here and there. Mostly where the curved parts of the moulded seat meets the cockpit deck.

@Willhound speaks truth ... it's a common problem in any fiberglass boat. Can you post photos? If a crack originates at a windshield screw, that screw should be removed and resealed to keep water from getting in and freezing. There's a black plastic strip at the bottom of the windshield on the outside ... you can pull it up to find the screw locations. Ten minute operation.
