escape hatch and vent/ and replacement cover

Hi,

Love my 250 fiesta vee but starting to show age and need replacement parts.  Right now looking for a new ventilation escape hatch replacement - mine is cracked. (And a replacement boat cover and rain cover if you know of where I can get one for our boat)  

Anyone know a good place to get one?

Are the older Rinker 250 Fiesta Vee (2003) - Cabin Cruiser boats - using the Lewmar parts for that?   and is there a place I can get sizes for that hatch?

If you pull the serial numbers off of the hatch frame you can match it up to a similar model on either the b'omarr site or the Lewmar site

Thanks guys for how to find this hatch part...!  I need to go to the boat tomorrow and measure and look for part number.  Let you know my success with it.  We are also looking for a good cockpit cover for the 250.  the link above as has one but it is 2,200 and the snaps are not installed.  They just give them to you in a plastic bag so you have to do them yourself....  We have the old one so I was wondering if anyone knew a custom fabric maker who could take our old one which has some tears and fray and make a new one out of that pattern?

Looks like you're in a big enough area that you would be able to find a canvas fabricator. Your best bet is to ask around to your harbor/launch buddies. Local knowledge is always good.

As for snaps, unless you do find someone local, you will always need to install them yourself - they do not come pre-installed because each install is different. It is time consuming, but not that difficult with the proper tools - available at West Marine or Amazon.

If you do get a fabricator, they also won't put the snaps on until they fit it to the boat. So you'll need to decide if you want to pay them for their time to do it - or save some dollars and do it yourself.

When we did our 24' Maxum cover, between me and the Admiral it took about 3 hours start to finish. Hardest part is getting it lined up and the first set of snaps in. After that it was a snap to complete.

@jbinfoman Your boat is at a 5,280 feet higher altitude than mine. How well does she run in that thin air?

I bought the tool to put in my own snaps. I seem to have to replace at least 5-6 a year anyway.

@andyd the boat is sluggish out of the hole...at about 3,000 RPM I can pull the trim tabs up and it runs great but not as well as at sea level.  At Lake Powel it runs really well as long as I don't weigh it down....

@davidbrooks Thanks for all the tips....I measured the hatch today but could not find the model # but I think the measurements will work with one of the manufactures you mentioned.  And Ok guess I will have to break down and get that tool for my cockpit cover.
