another replace fridge ?

wanting to and a need to replace the fridge = t22 in our 06-270. with gen and shore power  = docked yearly
i see some advertised as ac/dc or dc only 
pros/cons of getting
also have you replaced lately = with ?
looking for good service and fit n finish with ease 
such thing as plug n play

Our 2000 270 has a 12 volt only Vitrifrigo that has worked well. We're on shore power with battery charger on while at the slip so no effect on batteries. And I see it as one less thing (110V inverter) to go wrong.

I have a thread on here on replacing the cockpit fridge in my 342. It was a TJ22 and the Vitrifrigo AC/DC 62i fit my opening perfectly. Awesome fridge, was around $800 delivered I believe (summer 2019). For me if you have AC/DC at that fridge I would never consider replacing the fridge with just AC or just DC.
