VHF Radio

Four years ago I bought a used 2008 260 EC. At purchase the VHF radio did not work. I want to replace it over the winter. The radio had the controls and mic coming out of the starboard wall. I purchased a new mic but it was not compatible with the "BOX". Anybody know where this box is located?

    On my 370, it's located to the right of the helm seat at floor level.  I have to remove the subwoofer to reach it from forward, or remove the icemaker to reach it from aft.  Maybe yours is similar.
