Adding an extra battery.?.

I’m considering adding a house battery. Right now I have one battery for port engine, one for starboard engine and one for house. Which manufacturer/model is recommended? How hard is it to wire in an extra battery?

    Adding a second house battery is easy when you already have a separate house battery.  Just secure the battery and wire it in parallel.  There are some diagrams here somewhere showing the correct wiring.  It should be the same type of battery as the first house battery.  

    Batt 1: + to charger, - to (Batt 2 -)
    Batt 2:  + to (Batt 1 +), - to ground
