Marine Mat

Does anyone takes the cockpit mats out for storage, or do you leave them in? I pulled one out for a couple of weeks and it seemed to shrink. Worried about getting them snapped back in if I pull them until spring.

Just finished washing our Marine Mat on the back deck this morning. Brought them inside to dry since it was getting cold outside. I pull them off the boat every fall and put in our old carpet for storage. That way the nice Marine Mat stays clean and if I or a yard worker goes on the boat while in storage and get the old carpet dirty/greasy, I don't worry.

Same here. Pulling out today to bring home before haul out tomorrow, they’ll be washed, dried and laid under the bed flat. If there is any minor shrinkage it’s not an issue @benvenuttioki as they have stretch. It does contain some memory foam so I expect this to happen. In 3 years never been an issue snapping back in.
