2004 FV270 swim platform

Anybody know how the 270 swim platform is built?
Does it have a wood core?
 Noticed mine has a couple spots that feel a bit spongy.

So based on the lack of any feedback I am going to assume nobody has an idea as to the construction of a 270 swim platform?

foam core look back at java and his 342 qhen he was reconstructing it.
