Replacement Compass

I want to replace my compass, it’s faded and has some cracks. Does anyone know of a direct replacement without having to drill new holes? Also would like to have red backlighting like the original. I haven’t searched yet, figured I’d ask here first. When I pulled it out, the negative wire was disconnected.

I replaced with a Ritchie F50. If I remember correctly I did need to drill new holes.

Is it a 3” compass? I think this is the correct one.

Heads up, my Ritchie lights up green. Drilling holes not too big of deal - get the compass you like.

Yea, I think they all light green now. Would be nice to find red.

I only have it for emergency so I replaced with the cheapest I could find. My original had leaked out. Unlike my last boat, I didn’t have to pull the windshield to replace it.

It's says "cannot be refilled" I'm sensing a challenge.

@aero3113 I'm thinking about replacing mine with a bulkhead-mounted compass.  If I do, I can sell you my Danforth.  Should be a drop-in replacement.
