engine alarm on my Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee

Hello everyone,

When I started my port engine, the beeping alarm came on and I watched to see if the engine was over heating. It did not. After several minutes the alarm shut off. I started the port engine several times thereafter throughout the day and the same thing happened with the beeping alarm coming on. What could be the problem? The engine seems to run fine even after a couple of hours of continous running.

If there is nothing wrong, how do you get this annoying alarm to quit beeping? Thankyou in advance for help.

Could be out drive gear oil level is low.

Thanks Raybo3, I will check to see if the oil level is low. But is there anyway to get the alarm from beeping?

the alarm is like a sprained knee. ignore it and surgery is just around the corner.

Hey DakotaSkipper if its the drive oil low level it takes 2 minutes to add oil. The oil res is right in front of the engine when you lift the hatch. Also make sure the cap's are on correct or that could sound the alarm also.. Good luck and keep us posted....
