Dinghy davit part, what are they called?

I have Weaver snap davits that came on my swim platform similar to these.  I’m planning to buy a dinghy soon and am trying to locate the name and a source for the parts that glue to the dinghy. Any help would be appreciated.

Any davit ideas for a sea door spark?

Try eBay or Amazon. Half the price of weaver.

Stupid question - how do you actually use these? Had them on the old boat but as a newby boater didn’t ask what they were nor worry about them. I know now but not how they are used.
