Blower vent covers

So, I'm looking at replacing my vent covers once again as the center basically cracked or dryed up and fell apart.
Those that went with the SS ones, like this:

What do you think so far? Do you find yourself spending a lot of time keeping them clean? Do they noticeably stand out too much?
Or, should I go with these again?

Or, is there something in between the two that might be better? I'd love to have white anodized metal ones.

@Liberty44140 I don't generally get much water in the vents, so I'm hoping this new style will deflect any even more. That is a good ideal though if I start seeing water lay in that area (my batteries & waste tank are in that general area).
