I went to grease my rudders the other day and on the star side the grease gun fitting got stuck on the nipple, I tried everything to remove it and it will not budge. Such a simple job and I dicked around with it for at least half an hour. Finally got pi$$ed off and unscrewed the hose. Will be a job for another day. Has this ever happened to anyone else ?

Yep. Sometimes prying up gently with a wide blade screwdriver while also putting pressure on the gun will pop them off. Grease is gonna fly though. Sometimes they'll stick like that and then just inexplicably pop off.
