2008 captiva 276 gps tranducer mounting.

I was wondering the best way to mount the transducer. Is there an easy place inside the boat to glue it to the bottom of the hull. Or is thru the transom the best? Thanks

Thru hull is the best followed by transom mount.

Welcome to the forum.  Handy is right -- thru-hull will perform best.  Transom mounting works well too ... slightly easier to install, but not quite as reliable as thru-hull.

Either way, you need to pick the right spot with nothing upstream that will cause turbulence.   If you also have a thru-hull depth sounder, you should put the transducer as far away as possible because they probably both use the same frequencies.
