260 EC 2014 Intelli-power Marine Charger says error.

Hello All,
I just purchased my first boat, 2014 EC 260. During inspection, the converter/charger show "Err" on the screen.

Any idea what maybe wrong before I call a mechanic? PErhaps someone else has experienced this and discovered it was a simple reset or something similar.
Thank you.

Take a look at this link. It sounds like one of your batteries is connected backwards.

It would be a good idea to start collecting PDF versions of the manuals for your boat's components ... water heater, refrigerator, and so forth. I keep a folder on my computer with copies of all that stuff so I don't have to search the web for info.
