swim platform

in Rinker Custom Projects
having a swim platform put on our 2001 242 Fiesta Vee. Does anyone have the dimensions of the aft of the boat or a drawing so we can make a template. our platform guy does not have a template for our model.

    @Driftwood Welcome to the forum. The Rinker company is closed. Maybe some of the guy's with 242" s will chime in later.

    I was present when they templated my 270 and I have to tell you it was drop dead simple. All they did was take a bunch of squares of cardboard and follow along the edge of the transom where the platform will sit and traced, cut and taped together. When you receive your platform it won't be exact fit anyway, in my case it was a rough fit with about almost an inch of extra material that required trimming/sanding until I got it just how I wanted it. It required me and a buddy lifting it up and down about 25 times while I traced with a marker and took off extra material with a belt sander with coarse grit paper. About a 4 hour job.
