Down side is......It's not light. But the stanchions do a good job of holding it in place. no wiggle and rock steady under way. Just a bit of a struggle to access the engine compartment.
Handymans342... Its been a long time since I posted. (And probably even longer for my next post) I had to replace the port engine. Found an identical engine with only 100+ hours on it and had it installed. Seamless fit, and aside from needing a new port engine fuel pump...no issues. Decided to sell the boat in July of last year. It went to a gentleman in Havre De Grace. (I believe he is on this site now as "foghorn1". I guess, look for the boat in the Chesapeake this year. It's hard to miss. This site was great ! everyone helped out. (unlike the Rinker Facebook page)
@Dirtythirty wow! I wondered if @foghorn1 was your boat. I was really wanting to meet you and see that boat at Rinkervous! Now I will have to make sure to bug Foghorn1 to come to Rinkervous. It is just a short drive away in Still Pond.
Sorry to hear you sold the boat, but I hope you are enjoying the spare time you now have. Please keep in touch!
