How much snow have you gotten or expecting to get?

Here in my part of Ohio we already had about 5 inches on the ground and we received an additional 2 inches last night. Later this evening and overnight they are predicting 8-10 more. I am seeing that Texas and other southern states got hammered.

Riverrat, what part of OH are in?  My Sister-in-law are up in Chardon (NE OH).  They are in the snow belt and always get a bunch.

We may get a few inches here on Thursday.  Most of what is here is starting to melt a little. Tomorrow will be 50, so it should all melt before Thursday's event.

@Dream_Inn We are north of Dayton outside of a town named Tipp City. We get snow but nothing like NE Ohio.

Ann Arbor area had about 8" until last night. Additional 8" this morning and -6 degrees. Just cleared the driveway. Come on boating season!!!

8" on the ground with some freezing rain at the moment. Nothing on the ground a week ago.  We get less  snow being on the coast. Nova Scotia extends about 90 miles east of the main continent into the Atlantic keeping us a bit warmer in the winter, but makes for cooler summers.

Yep, looks like we could get 6 inches on Thursday. I'm actually excited!  Good thing here is in about 3 weeks I'll be uncovering boat.

We have around 18" on the ground....combined with fresh snow and snow from the past week.

Don't worry, eventually it will all flow back down there to you!  You can also mix it into a hurricane and have it come up our way as a tropical storm...but again, $hit flows down hill...along with our dirty water...

Too much. I had to drive 300 miles dragging a trailer full of pigs yesterday. Crappy conditions the whole way.

@69fastback I was wondering when we may hear from you. We had crews scheduled for training this week in Dallas that we cancelled. You guys got hit really bad all over the state.

Since Friday, I'd say here close to Toronto, Canada we got around 16".  We are getting another 4" tomorrow, and then a bit of a dump here and there.  I haven't see this much snow in a while.

We are at a foot, maybe a little more. Been keeping a close eye on my glass jar of -60 F antifreeze that I used in the boat this year. We only got down to single digits, never got below 0, but still watched it. Never even saw a chunk of gel, full liquid so far...

@Liberty44140 , I did that test a few years ago with 3 different antifreezes. I have to find the thread. We think alike! LoL

I can’t find it. I’m not sure if it was on the old forum or the new one. I remember all 3 had some form of slush, none froze solid.

We did, but honestly, the roads are pretty good. It took us 8 hours to go 300 miles. We usually don’t get snow here. We typically only get ice, and the snow you can actually drive on.

Yes, it has been, but we’ve had electricity at our house the whole time. We did lose water for a day though, and now that it’s back, we have to boil it. 

Where the mess that affects us is, the pig barn lost electricity, causing it to bust all the water lines going to each pen, and there’s 70 pens. It flooded all the pig pens, covered the pigs in water, and then froze. We got the heaters running off a generator now, but we have to drive out there and hand water from a bucket 4-5 times per day, and there’s no water. It’s been a mess.

As usual, I got shafted.  Prediction was 6" and I got 1".  The county cancelled school ... even remote learning, which defies logic.

Exactly. Up here they are not happy about thought of removing “snow days” because the remote learning in the norm now.
