Battery cable

Would anyone know what gauge of battery cable is original equipment in a 280EC with a Merc 377 MAG     6.2L.  Thanks for any help.

    See what the gm factory one would be for a truck that has that motor?  Unless your really spread out I'd think it would/should be close? I know when I replaced the power steering pump, the pump was a standard gm part for 60 bucks vs 500 for the merc...or what ever it was...place to start, good luck!

    It should be on the wiring diagram. The diagram is on this site.

    I'll take a look on the site for the wiring diagram Greg. Didnt realize that the diagram  would indicate the gauge of each wire ...Thanx for the idea........
