This lake is about an hour and 15 min. from where I live. It is a know fact these guys do not winterize and run coast guard heaters in bulge. I bet it was a faulty heater.

We have been to Dana Point Marina, beautiful place, share about the lost and damaged boats.
when we did a quick inquire about availability at Dana Point I was directed to a online waiting list for spots at the marina.... it was crazy how long some people have been waiting to get a slip there...

@rmfriday Larger slips are all taken, hence the wait list. 25' slips can be found, however the pending "revitalization" of the harbor reduces the number of smaller slips and increases the number of larger slips. The people in charge are trying to bring Newport Beach-style upscale amenities to a place that's historically been more affordable for the less affluent boater. Andy
