Sad news this past week

Wednesday this past week my older brother passed away. Total shock to my family..he was 61. 19 years older than me...he was an essential part of my up bringing and took such great care of me. Got me into boating at an early age.

He had heart troubles but I guess nobody truly knew how fragile he was. He never stopped working for a second.

Wednesday he came inside from plowing snow...took his coat off and collapsed.

Today is a small service for him...family only. It will be tough.

So sorry to hear of your loss, I know what you are going through. Last year my brother died of an inoperable brain tumor, glioblastoma, age 70. It was only three months from diagnosis to him passing. Andy

I am sorry for your loss and I too had an older brother die recently. He was 20 years older than me and in the Army in Germany when I was born. Growing up he was more of a parental figure than a sibling.
