I am in the process of the installation of my open garmin radar back to my new hardtop, but I am wonder if i should install a wedge under the radar for a better  signal. Any input will be appreciate. Thx

Isn’t the idea that the radar should be level when the boat is on plane? I removed the dome and can measure the wedge for you but not sure the 310 and 330 have the same running angle?

My 342 radar did not have a wedge and the radar worked just fine ahead, I/O boats seem to run pretty flat so I don’t know that you need a wedge. My current v drive boat runs much more bow high and I have no wedges and with no tabs, radar shows nothing ahead so I have to tab the bow down some when using the radar to level her off. If you run as flat as a 342 your good without.
