Relocated water tank or house batteries!

I notice my boat is very heavy in the back, so I am wonder if anyone relocate their house batteries (two 80 pounds each) out of the engine bay to the bow under the bed or any other location, another idea it was to remove the water tank of the engine bay and custom made an aluminum water tank under the front bed. Any ideas will be appreciate . Thx

The one thing I liked about my cousins SR 240 is that the water tank is up at the bow. If you move the batteries into the cabin, they can’t be wet cell batteries. Wet cell batteries need ventilation.

I have not heard of anyone doing that.  But even a few pounds would make a big difference if you move it from stern to bow.

    100 pounds moved 2 feet = 200 pound-feet
    10 pounds moved 20 feet = 200 pound-feet
    Same effect on balance

I guess you are trying not to add weight.  I added chain to my anchor rode to help with balance (and anchor performance).
